It might then appear prudent to play the whole game with no mastery gap, using skills from tree, and farming the entire necessary SP for your capped build one time you reach the cap. However, there remains the issue of grinding quickly and safely. Of equipping your character with the skills is necessary to be able to grind at a reasonable speed. You’ll have a much simpler time doing a one star trade at level 25 with no gap than you would with a 9 gap.

Silkroad Online is a process to a finish, which is to say that it’s a purpose but that purpose is not merely to have a powerful end-game character. The purpose is to have fun. Some people desire a lot to be the strongest, to have an ideal end-game character, that reaching that becomes their obsession.

But is that fun? Entertaining? Or is it merely satisfying? & in the event that they cannot be the strongest, are they still satisfied? In the event you have no satisfaction & no fun, there is no more reason to play. The only things that keep people here after they have exhausted satisfaction & fun are inertia, addiction, boredom, escapism, or feelings of loyalty or debt. For most people, the most fun is likely to be had when you can grind moderately well & job moderately well. It is not as important to PvP well until you get in to 4x at the least, & the general public are not there yet. Those who are ought to have been playing long to think about what I have said with their own experience, & make their own conclusions.

Avoid a 9 gap like the plague until you reach level 64 and your end-game weapon. In case you limit your skills to the necessities, you can get SP with a 0 gap for a main tree at your level as well as a sub tree ~10 levels behind. A two gap will give you SP for both trees to be maxed, or for maxed and ten behind but more skills used.

And it is perfectly reasonable to keep a higher gap at lower levels, because you have lots of quests at those levels and they go by quickly. When you get to levels without quests, raise your mastery to get through them faster; when you get to levels with more quests, let your mastery stay low for a bit. And in the event you get tremendous bored, raise a single mastery up to 0 gaps without getting any skills, rush several levels, and then use the cursed heart quest to return to whatever gap you like while you explore a brand spanking new area of the map.

Although the amount of experience necessary to level is always the same for a given level, the amount of skill experience is not; therefore one exp does not have value equal to one sxp. That is how tripling your experience at a tiny loss of skill experience can be an equal exchange.

Since you would be gaining less than half as much experience per kill, you’d have to kill a little more than double the number of a particular enemy to level.

First of all, you are not “losing” anything; the numbers show that your gains will be the same, merely weighted in direction of the other. If it will take you slightly over double the time to level, and you will get slightly over double the SP, think about the following situation.

Character A and character B start from 42 with 0 SP and grind at the same rate. A has a 9 gap, while B has an 8 gap. They keep going until a reaches level 43. B reached that level in slightly less than half the time, and at that point they had 8149 SP, but they continues grinding as long as A is grinding, now also at a 9 gap.

When A reaches level 43, they probably have roughly the same amount of SP, but B is a good 30-40% of the way to level 44. So what’s the difference?

Ignoring the fact that character B has higher mastery and thus has spent more SP historicallyin the past than character A, the difference is that character A can make use of his SP to have more skills relative to his level, while character B can make use of his EXP to have a higher level relative to actual time spent on the game.

But character A’s lower mastery makes it more difficult for him to kill and to survive. Character A spends two times as much time at a given enemy, with great potential to go nucking futs because of it. Character A has less HP and inferior equipment due to his level, which makes life harder when they do things other than grinding.

Character A’s common drops are worth less when selling to players or NPCs, and if by some chance he gets a rare drop, it will be worth exponentially less. There is always the cap to think about. This is not an open-ended game as far as level is concerned, and you can reach your objective.

They are items that you buy using silk, you buy silk with actual money by PayPal or credit card on the official Silkroad Online web-site. Do not try to buy silk for ingame gold for your own nice.

A gold ticket, or “gt”, is a scroll. One time activated it gives you hours of double sp and double exp in the work of combat periods. So when you go killing archers, you get double sp and the ticket slowly runs out but in the event you cease killing things and return to Jangan to stall then your “double sp time stops walking out. Time you don’t use today will be transferred to tomorrow. Gold tickets last 24 hours or 28 days and cost 15 silk and 130 silk respectively.

There are a few tricks to know so that you don’t waste your gold/silver ticket. Gold time counts down when you are fighting – but not in the same way depending on the mobs that you are attacking.

Gold tickets activate when you assault something, one time you cease attacking gold time runs for twenty seconds & then pauses. When mobs assault you, unless they are red, you gold time is activated. This is fascinating because if ever you need to delevel in the coursework of gold time, do not assault monsters & don’t delevel on anything but aggressive red monsters & you will save your gold time for farming. In a party, set on experience auto-share, gold time stops.

A monkey, a squirrel or a rabbit is an immortal pet that picks up your drops & any other obtainable items around you. It’s its own stock, & you can transfer items from your stock to your pet’s stock. Pets don’t drop items when you die. One time activated it takes up one slot in your stock & last 28 days – after that it expires. To buy a pet, it is 98 silk, to resurrect your pet it cost 48 silk.

A monkey is a large help – you will notice plenty of SP farmers’ chain killing bandit archers without grabbing their drops because it takes long – your pet won’t only grab your own funds but also theirs – there is a lot of gold to be made there. As for gold tickets, in the event you are planning on farming over 50k & the bandit stronghold, in the event you can afford don’t hesitate.

If that is the case then here is some advice. While you are own “gold time” don’t lose time picking up items, you really need to maximize those three hours a day by killing.

While you are farming with a nine level gap between your character level & your highest mastery level you get lots of skill experience points & a small bit of experience points. The trouble is that to go from level 16 to 17 you don’t need that much experience, so in an afternoon of farming you will level to 17. Don’t put your masteries to level 8 to keep the nine level gaps. You need to lose experience to return to level 16, preferably to 3% of level 16.

You lose 2% per death, so you need to die 50 times to lose a level. It’s pointless to say that having somebody to resurrect you is a giant advantage. There’s lots of ways to do it. You need a mate with the resurrection skill at level one & preferably with the harmony skills to. TP do Downhang & go to the south gate. Party together with your mate so you can basically find each other in case you get separated, a exp auto share in case you have a gold ticket go & find someplace where there aren’t lots of people & let the earth ghosts kill you. On a quiet day, your mate has to stay in the harmony circle, you stand outside, when the earth ghost kills you, & your mate can immediately resurrect you.

Repeat as lots of times as necessary, until you have 5% of experience left at level 16, then respawn yourself at Jangan. And return to the stronghold. You can farm at the bandit archers until level 19, but at level 19 there is a sudden drop in ex pand SP that you get from archers. I recommend going up to level 19 at least one time so that you can add HP or Int to your character. You keep the additional HP and mana, the mana will be an actual help.

If you don’t have a guild and don’t have any friends that can resurrect you are not lost. As you are a farmer you could be useful to a low level guild – for every SP you farm your guild gets a guild point, guilds need lots of guild points to level up. Offer them your GPs for their resurrecting services.

In this game, you may need to join or form a party which means that you will work with a group of players together. There are two main kinds of parties, one is set on “Exp auto share” and the other one is set on “Exp distribution”.

“Exp auto share” means that the experience points and skill experience points are shared amongst members of the party. If two of you are in a party set on auto share, and you are both of the same level for each kill you make you both get half the experience plus a party bonus. The bonus is what makes the whole thing worthwhile. However, you both have to be in the same perimeter for it to work.

“Exp distribution”, as a farmer you should now start to pay serious attention! A distribution party is a party of four people maximum, you all receive the normal experience and skill points from you own kills – you get nothing from another member’s kill. You also get a bonus amount of Exp and sp when you are in this party. You get a bit more every time someone joins, and you get the maximum bonus with 4 members.

y pimped. No point in paying 70 million for a SOM bow after all is there? Just make sure you keep all those level 2 tablets of INT and STR.

To farm efficiently you need a SoX bow which may cost a lot of money if this is your first character. But without that kind of bow you will struggle to get anywhere so you need to get gold as fast as possible, while if possible getting SP.

Now that you have got your SoX bow it is time to start farming. The harder you can hit bandit archers the faster it will be and the less people will want to try to KS you.

Performing alchemy on you weapon is one way to do things, but it is expensive and random. You can however make a huge change to your attacking power by adding STR and INT blues to your equipment. As you are level 16, most of your clothing and jewels will be 2nd degree and bandit archers drop second degree tablets of INT and STR as well as all the elements you need to create stones of INT and Str. Life can be good sometimes. You want to end up with INT 3 STR 3 on everything you wear.

A level 16 full INT character will one shot kill bandit archers with a Sos +3 bow and fire imbue if his equipment is nicely pimped. No point in paying 70 million for a SOM bow after all is there? Just make sure you keep all those level 2 tablets of INT and STR.

There are lots of benefits of a party to SP farming. You can always create a party of your own, but often it takes a long time for the first player to join, and it is generally easier to join a half full one.

You should now have a list of parties. You need to choose one of them, but not randomly. It must have a maximum of four members. Have a look at the last screenshot, the party created is in blue, and look at the second column from the right, it says ¼. That means that there is 1 member out of a maximum of 4.

Once you have found a party that fits the description, select it with the mouse and click on “join party”. You should get this.

If you successfully join the party, that is if the party leader accepts you, you can now start farming. If not, just pass on to the next party with 4 members and try again.

You get maximum bonus when the party is full, so try to keep your party as full as possible. If you had 4 members in your party and one of them leaves, your party does not automatically join the party match system, you have to “reform” your party. To do that, just call up the party match system, click on “form party”, check that the settings are correct and click confirm. Your party has now rejoined the “party match” system.

arty number they start low on page 1 and get higher as you move on to the next page.

You can always be a member of a party while you’re farming with the “party match” system. There are two different parties, “Exp auto share” and “Exp distribution”. Decide which kind you want to join or form.

First of all, you can form your own party, if you have a guild or lots of friends then this is probably the best thing to do, if not, I recommend joining an already formed party.

If you want to create a party, open the party window by pressing “p”. This is what you should have. Click on “Set” and choose the party you would like to form. For farming, I recommend the illustrated setup.

You can then either invite somebody buy clicking on him and inviting him to the party or else you can join the party match system, by doing that you will be publicizing your party to the whole server – so that is what I recommend. Click on “party match” and this is what you should see. Click on “form party” and you get this. It should be set the same too, if it isn’t you need to go back to the initial party window and set the party correctly.

Once that is done, you should have this window. The number on the left is what you should give your friends if they want to join the party. Parties are ranked by that number, so if you are looking for a party number they start low on page 1 and get higher as you move on to the next page.

When you have a new character and you want to do some farming before leveling up, the first thing that you should do is choose what kind of build you are going to do and calculate the amount of SP you need. To do this you need three tools: SP calculator, Character builder and SP per level chart.

Use the first links to calculate how lots of SP points you need, & then use the third to know how lots of SP you are going to get leveling together with your planned mastery gap. Subtract this to the amount you need to know how lots of you are going to need to farm.

Once you have done this, you now know how much SP you require to farm. The rest is about getting them as quick as feasible. To farm effectively, you require a 9 level gap between your character level & your highest mastery. Accordingly you require ceasing developing all of your masteries at level 7.

Before you start farming, it is advised to create masteries, fire and bow to level 7. You ought to now have a fire imbue, and bow skills. You ought to create these characters you are building. You hit harder with fire than any other imbue, and the bow skills will be useful against giants and champions.

Even if your planned character does not need these two skills develop them just to farm, you can delevel them later using a level 20+ quest.

Choose it according to the situation. If you’ve got back up and need to take out a larger group of ppl fast use daggers. If you’re solo and just need to kill a few ppl quickly, use Xbow.

If you’re using both Dagger and Xbow Trees it’ll help cut your weaknesses down to a minimum. Your WORST enemies are Warlocks and Wizards.

Warlocks top the list. They stun they sleep they DoT there class is designed to do what you cannot stand. They can cease you! They can cease you chilled and dead and there’s not very a damn thing you can do about it. In the event you can afford the expensive pills for curses don’t use them for cape battles save them for job wars/battles and they WILL save your life. In that five sec you are stunned that warlock unleashes all kinds of destroy on to you and you don’t require that. To make matters worse they have got that damn Shield. If the assault you use to expose yourself is blocked you are in trouble. Proceed with Caution against warlocks.

Wizards are annoying. If there’s not a warlock around & sometimes even if there is kill them first because they are going to kill you the quickest. They sit & nukes for daggers they are troublesome because of that lack of range. But they go down basically & are not much of an issue in case you know what you are doing.

Once they do put it on you’ll must depend on crits for kills because your see a significant drop in the damage you are dealing. Before they get Iron Skin though they much suck so you won’t must worry about them. Sometimes they KD sometimes they stun but a lovely rogue ought to be able to kill them before they do either. But watch out for Paladins (warrior clerics) in the event that they know how to play the build right you could be in for a fascinating fight.

A lovely cleric is as hard as a warlock. If your thieving & you have removed your prime targets kill them next before they res or before they can buff up the party. Don’t fret about the cleric offering unless you’re soloing or in a party where no has res. One time they use it on hit will finish them off & you could probably finish them off in the three seconds it takes to pull the skill off.

If your carrying loot in a transport & are solo its best to turn DD and/or EX off. You’ll take a lot less damage from hunter spawns but will still be able to kill them in a timely fashion. If your carrying 2*+ a pleasant tactic is to discover a safe area go stealth & walk away from your transport. The transport won’t follow & you can stay 100 meters away, then when hunters spawn you can take them on after the other without having to deal with all of them attacking you without delay as soon as they spawn.
