Errors You May Get When Botting

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012
A few errors might occur when you bot in Silkroad online.
Error1 Run-time Error ‘339′
This is because you don’t have a file that ibot needs to run. In order to fix this, install/reinstall Windows Media Player 10.
Error 2 Timer Train Go
This is because you havn’t set a “Train Script” that leads you to your training area.
Error 3 C9 Error (Ping Timeout)
This sometimes occurs when logging in. It is not actually an Ibot error. It is a SRO login error. It should connect after a few tries. If not, restart ibot.
Error 4 Run-time Error ‘13′
There is either something wrong with your script, and you need to re-install it. Or you are using the wrong script for an area. For example, use a Movia script in Jangan.

How to Manage Items for Botting

Wednesday, January 18th, 2012
If you find that after an hour of training your inventory is full, look at this post.
In order to make your character return to town and sell/store the items it’s gained through its automatic journey, select the second last tab across. It ought to be a picture of a hand picking up some loot.
The items you need to keep, check the box “store”, for items you’d like to sell, (e.g. alchemy mats) hit, sell.
Inside there will be another menu, the exact same as the last. Only this time it is for separate tablets. Hit store on what you need to keep, sell on what you need to sell, and your done!
Of work you can always set it so that it doesn’t pick stuff up by checking the “Don’t Pickup” box. On a more advanced note, comes the issue of tablets. Hit the box “Tablets Filter”.

How to Use Train Scripts for Botting

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012
This is the most important part of your botting. A train script tells your bot what to do in order to get to your training location from town.
Use a scroll to get to your selected town. This is just so that your character is on the right point to start the script.
Hit the fifth tab across, it should be a picture of an arrow point at some shoe prints. Inside, is the “Return to town when…” settings, which are pretty self explanatory. The, “Buy Settings” which allows you to select how much of what, your character will buy during the town script and the script settings.
In order to record a script, there will be a tab called “Record Script”. When clicked, a button will show up saying “Record”. Hit record, and check the box that allows the script to automatically record whatever steps you take.
Be careful not to take your steps to far away from each other, it often messes the bot up.
Walk your character to your training point, (The Exact Centre) if you’re having trouble doing that just set you training point as mentioned previously, to the point in which you stop moving.
Now, in the text box below the co-ordinates recorded, type the name of the script, for instance “Mangyangs.txt”.
That’s your script written, now move back to the “Current Script” tab. Select “Load New Train Script”, and open it from the ibot folder.
Hit “Save Settings” and you’re done! Your bot should now move back to the location you want to train at after it returns to town!
Before you start your script up, however, just take a moment to set the buy options and the “Return to Town When…” options.

How to Start Your Bot Killing

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012
In order to start your bot killing, you will need to move your character to the enemies you want your character to kill. With the client, just run there as you would normally.
Now you will need to select the third tab across. It’s a picture of a man thrusting a sword. You will need to set the area in which your character trains, in order to do this, hit “Set Area” located in the “1st Training Area” box. Choose a radius. The default is 100, which is generally good enough.
If you hit “Start Bot” now, you’ll notice nothing happens! This is because you haven’t actually set any skills to use. Hit the fourth tab across, which is an image of a book. Inside this tab you will see three main boxes, allow me to explain each of them.
Below are all of the current skills your character has access.
Attack Skills – This box contains area’s in which you can place skills for your bot to run when in attack mode.
Buff Skills – Finally, the Buff Skill box displays which buff’s your character will automatically use, for example a weapon enchantment buff.
To get your character to begin killing, you will need to check “Use Normal Attack” in the Attack Skills box. He will now be able to attack, but without skills. In order to make your character use skills, select one from the Skills List and hit add. Your character will now use that skill when attacking.
The same is done with buff skills. Select a buff such as “Ice River Force” and hit add in the primary tab. Now whenever your character goes to kill an enemy, it will automatically use “Ice River Force”. Hit “Save Settings” and your configs will be saved.
Now hit “Start Bot” and your character will begin its training!

How to make ibot work in Silkroad online

Monday, January 16th, 2012
Now that you have ibot working, there are a few things that will need to be explained, in order to the get bot to actually work. You can either load start the bot in client, or clientless form. Client form is the easiest way, but is less reliable over time. In order to use the client form, just hit run client. It will load the game as normal and allow you to login. It is recommended that you login using the client whilst configuring your bot.
Clientless is a bit different. You will need to hit the second tab along in the task bar located at the top of the screen. It’s a picture of a man riding a camel or something like that. Once you’ve hit him, there will be a tab labeled “Login Type”. Select clientless, check the box for auto reconnection and hit connect.
You are now connected to the game. Next, in the auto select character box, type your characters name, and check the box “Auto Select Character”. This is for if any un-wanted disconnections occur. In the “Login Information” box, select your server from the drop down box, type in your login details, check “Auto Relog” and hit the [ C ] button located just left of your login information.
You’ve now logged in without a client!

How to install iBot in Silkroad Online

Monday, January 16th, 2012
First of all, you will need to actually download the program.
You need to download iBot v1.0.89, iBot v1.0.89b, and iBot v1.0.89c.
You’re going to need to create a folder for ibot to install into. Extract the rar files you downloaded into the folder you just created, in order from v1.0.89, v1.0.89b, v1.0.89c. The first extraction is the program itself, and update b and c are just patches, you probably don’t even need to worry about using patch b. Go into the folder and run ” ibot.exe “. Now, more often than not, it won’t actually work on the first run, this is generally because your firewall and/or resident shield is blocking it. You can either turn off your firewall and resident shield, or add ” ibot.exe ” to the bypass lists.
If you’re very unlucky, and ibot still isn’t working, you’ll need to follow these steps. Go into the folder you installed ibot into, and oepn ” iBot_Necessities “. Inside this folder should be four .OCX files, register each of the files using either the WinXP or Win7 version. If your registration tools give you errors about how the files failed to register, then it’s because the tool is having a hard time copying the files to the proper directory. On Windows XP, the files should be copied to: C:\Windows\system32.
However, on Windows 7, some things can’t be done even if you do provide admin permissions. The Win7 registration tool attempts to copy the .OCX files to C:\Windows\SysWOW64, which, on most Win7 installations, doesn’t exist. So, go to your Windows directory and create a folder called ‘SysWOW64′. Copy the .OCX files from the iBot dependencies folder into your new folder.
Run the Win7 registration tool as an administrator. From now on, run ibot.exe as an administrator and it should work like a charm!

How to Change Mob Drops

Friday, January 13th, 2012
There is no definite link for mobs to drop definite items. It is all completed in groups based on the items itself. And from there it is assigned to the mobs levels.
Tablets are straighter forward then items. Tablets are assigned to mobs levels by degree of tablet which is simple to see. Mob levels 1-7 will drop degree one tablets. The # in the ProbGroup column states the % of drop rate or chance it’s to drop per mob. Mobs Level 8-15 will drop degree two tablets and so forth. ProbGroup 1-12 = Degree***** keep in mind that. Copy over the drop % from ProbGroup 9 (9Dg Tablets) to ProbGroup 8 (8Dg Tablets) and set ProbGroup 9 to cease from dropping. You can set to whatever. So as you can see, tablets worked as expected. And 9D Tablets stopped dropping in Taklamakan.
To change Mob Drops, you are going to need to make use of RefDropClassSel_Alchemy_Tablet, RefDropClassSel_Equip and RefDropClassSel_RareEquip.
Mobs Level 101-110 will only drop ProbGroup31 Tier one “101″ 11 Degree items. It stops after that. If there was a Tier two “B” it would have continued to prop group 32. But it stays ProbGroup31 because of one Tier “A” for mobs leveled 101-110.
For RARE Equips, The pattern is the same. But it overlaps because SoX can drop one Degree Lower and one Degree Higher than mob levels.
For equipment and weapons, use the same idea. Mobs are assigned groups of equipment and weapons using a different grouping though. It is not by degree. It is separated by tiers. Meaning A-B-C groups for each degree. In lieu of going by degree’s it goes by groups of tier per degree. Obviously there are three tiers per degree A, B, C and only one for 11D “A”. Degree one for example \.\. is level 1-7. Degree two starts at Level 8. ProbGroup1 is Tier one – “A”. ProbGroup2 is Tier two – “B”. ProbGroup3 is TIer three – “C”. Then it restarts at the next ProbGroup. ProbGroup4 is Tier one – “A” for Degree two which starts at level 8. So as you can see it is assigned to a level 8 mob. And so forth. You can see the pattern. In the event you don’t know, 11D only has one Tier – “A”.

Difference between job cave & ong farming SP

Thursday, January 12th, 2012
Some said these days ong farming is a waste of time as at 105 you can farm up to 100-150k sp per day in job cave.
100k+ sp per day is bot-only as well as impossible at this point I think. It’s too crowded with wiz bots.
Basically there’s 4 quests in the cave that ppl do. 1) Collect 50 items, 2) collect 100 items, 3) kill 100 monsters, 4) kill 20 opposing job ppl. Each is like 700 sp I think. 1&2 can be done on pretty much any mob inside job cave. 3 is specific mob. This can vary depending on which npc you talk to. Overall it’s just you kill a few mobs run back to npc and get sp.
You can enter as long as whatever job you are isn’t the overpopulating one. Like if you are a hunter and there are 90% hunters in the cave, you can’t enter until more hunters leave. Or you switch to a thief.
Outside Alex Quest give pretty decent sp. At 110 in a 110 party, I was getting about 2k sp every hour due to how fast my wiz friends were killing the mobs. There it’s basically kill 1000 mobs get sp.
If you are thinking of making a new char, do ong farming, there isnt as much bs to deal with. With the ong farm, just farm for 105. Then once you hit the job temple, you can get a fair amount of sp there. BUT, if you have money to spend and you buy a premium plus, ong farm can go from 3k sp/hr to 6k sp/hr. But the job temple will stay the same because premium doesnt effect quest rewards.
Basically they are the same.
