Academy Guide to Silkroad

You don’t understand the academy? Then you are right here. First you must be 60 + to open an academy.

When you invite members under 30 and they arrive level 40 they give u a feedback. When u was a good guardian they give u a good feedback. When you get a good one u earn more honor points then a bad one.

What I can do with buffs and how can you transfer it to you guardian? You get 80% more Exp and the guardian dont get 20% more Exp.

The cummulated buff is loading with points when a student is grinding. 10 points for 1 monster are added to the POINTS of cumulated buff. the student can transfer these points to his guardianafer 1 hour, or when only 23 hours are left on the cumulated buff.

After this transfer the collected points are splitted. They transform into accumulated buff and the studen gets 80% of his collected points and the guardian gets 20% from these collected points.

Then both have the accumulated buff and when grinding you get only 10 Exp or 10% Exp for a monster more!

The accumulated buff ends when there are no points left on it. And the points are going down when you grind.

For the junior guardians, basically the junior guardian gets a percent of honor points when an apprentice graduates. For example, you get the best rating possible and the guardian gets 30 points the junior guardian will take 2 points for himself and the guardian will get 28, which just means you have 1 guardian assistant

Silkroad Guide to Wizard

Most of you probably already know that wizards can do amazingly high damage and that is why they are essential in parties. The point of this build is to kill as many monsters as fast as possible, not to tank so there is no reason to add STR. Good sub-mastery would be a bard or cleric, but if you are annoyed cause of lack of phy def you could choose warrior as sub and wear heavy-armor. As every other tree this one also has some less-useful and completely useless skills which you can just pass on and save some sp. You might think that if you have only one mastery tree, sp farming won’t be necessary, this is where you’re wrong. You basically need to max most of skills here and that will cost you around 300k! But 9gapping euro char in party will get you loads of sp in short time.

The Skills are described below.

Natural Spirit

The 4 skills including earth Spirit, cold Spirit, fire Spirit, and lightning Spirit are natural passives which can be updated every 4lvls and each skill level adds 4% to selected elemental damage.

Force Mental

Intelligence – Passive. Permanently decreases MP used while casting nukes.

Magic Bound – Passive. Permanently increases nuking range.

Life Control – Buff. Increases magic damage by 25% and magic attack power by a fixed amount for 15minutes while reducing hp by 50%. NOTE: if you use this buff when you have +500hp scroll on the hp from scroll will also be reduced.

Life Turnover – Second book of previous skill, same damage increase ,hp reduce and duration. More magic attack power increase.

Earth Mentalist

Ground Charge – First earth nuke, available at mastery lv4. AoE and pretty good damage although not very useful in later levels

Ground Rave – Second book of previous skill, available at mastery lv60, requires maxed Gruond Charge (lv15)

Root – First enemy stopping skill, pretty useless IMO. Stops the enemy for 30seconds, effect is cancelled if enemy is attacked. SP waste!

Mesh Root – Same as above, just higher level restrain. SP waste!

Earth Shock – Very strong AoE attack, available at lv20. A must have skill!

Earth Quake – 2nd book of previous skill, available at mastery lv80. Also a must have.

Earth Barrier – Buff. Increases physical absorb for few seconds. If you have too much sp you can take this one, although i would rather max something else.

Earth Fence – Same as above, next book.

Cold Mentalist

Ice Bolt – First cold nuke, available at mastery lv4. No AoE, no penetration but pretty decent damage. Overall it’s a useful skill.

Frozen Spear – Second book of previous skill, available at mastery lv80. It’s 3-shot ice combo, good damage.

Mana Drain – This is a hard one. It’s suppose to freeze enemies ability to regain MP from pots for some time. It would be pretty cool if it actually worked, but it doesn’t, so… SP waste!

Mana Drought – Same as above. SP waste!

Snow Wind – Very useful AoE attack with high damage and amazingly high chance to Freeze/Frostbite enemy (40/80%), available at mastery lv20 Must have!

Blizzard – Second book of previous skill, same percentage, same chances to freeze/frostbite, available at mastery lv80. Must have!

Invisible – This is an interesting one ^^. Makes you invistble to players, mobs, nps thieves/hunters, available at mastery lv30. Each skill level will give you 12 seconds more duration and higher invisibility grade. Can only be detected by using wizards/rogues detect skill, chinese fire mastery detect skill from the new series or simply by using a detect potion. Fun skill! NOTE: If you cast this skill and mount camel/horse npc thieves/hunters won’t attack you!

Crystal Invisible – Second book of invisibility, longer duration, higher invisibility grade. Available at mastery lv80.

Fire Mentalist

Fire Bolt – First fire nuke, no penetration or AoE but high damage. Available since mastery lv4, very useful so it’s a must have.

Meteor – Second book of previous skill, has similar animation to chinese Flame Wave – Wide. Great damage, fast cast. Available at mastery lv60, requires maxed Fire Bolt (lv15). Must have

Fire Trap – Sets a fire trap invisible to other players, has a high damage but you need to be in close range. I have no idea in what kind of situation this skill would be useful o.O , available at mastery lv10.

Lava Trap – Same restrictions as above, higher damage. Available at mastery lv70.

Fire Blow – Fire combo. You stand in front of a monster for ~20 seconds and do constant damage with penetration each 2-3 seconds (hits 7 times). Cannot be stopped if casted, available at mastery lv20

Salamander Blow – Same as above, next book. Available at mastery lv80.

Detect – Allows you to detect invisible enemies in 15meter range, has grade restriction. Available at mastery lv30

Sprawl Detect – Same as above, higher grade detect. Available at mastery lv80

Now these series are a complete waste of SP. On the contrary to Chinese light mastery which was essential to every build, euro one simply SUCKS! Nuke damages are just silly; the only reason to up these series is the teleport skill.

How to Flagship under 64 bit system

It was very hard to find a solution, to run Flagship with Win7. Here is a guide to solve this problem. For this solution you need a good computer with many GB of RAM.

STEP 1:

What you need to use VMWare include CPU (DualCore (minimum) or higher), RAM (4GB (minimum) or higher), Graphic card (512MB or higher), and HDD (20GB or more).

Then download VMWare Workstation (30-days Trail), OS (operating system), Image or DVD needed IP Mana, and Silkroad cSRO. Some sites below may help you.

STEP 2

If you have step 1 completed we can start with step 2.

1. Install VMWare Workstation 7 on you system

2. Start VMWare Workstation 7 and create a new virtual maschine

3. Mount you Windows image or use your cd/dvd

4. Install Windows (For Win7 32bit i needed 20minutes)

5. VMWare asks you “Do you want to make an update?”, because 3D grafphics work better and you have no lags. You say YES.

6. Install the update und restart your windows in VM (do not RESTART your computer, RESTART the virtual computer.)

7. To copy the files form cSRO, ipmana, flagship ect… you can select you computer about your network. FIRST, enable the network settings in your vmware options, or you download csro, patches, update ect… what you need new from the internet.

8. Install cSRO, updates, patches ect…

9. Install IPMana and run it.

10. Start Flagship, select your folder and start the game.

11. Have fun.

Guide to Cleric Builds on Silkroad live

Cleric Builds have been long known as an amazing buffer. It also has the talent to put out quite some good damage. One of the most helpful and useful builds would have to be given to Cleric. Without a Cleric a European party will not and cannot survive, they control game play in 1 aspect. Usually they are Pure INT or a Hybrid INT as they need the mana and heal power. Most enemies of the cleric will learn to target it first, therefore clerics must be careful.

Skill Description:

Divine Creed

Heavenly Rage – Main Passive. Increases offensive power when you use Trial/Justice Cross. A must max.

Cardinal Praise

Trial Cross – Attack Skill. Has small damage output. Lvl 1 Needed only.

Healing – Heal Skill. Restores certain amount of HP to a subject. Max it.

Reverse – Res Skill. Resurrects dead members. A must max.

Innocent – Prevention Skill. Reduces status effect. Get lvl 1.

Justice Cross – Attack Skill. Has a good amount of output damage. Max it.

Healing Breath – Heal Skill. Heals a large amount. Max it.

Grand Reverse – Res Skill. Resurrects dead members. Get lvl 1 for 80 res.

Integrity – Prevention Skill. Extension of Innocent. Atleast lvl 1.

Mental Cure

Faith – Passive. Increases healing power using less mana. A must max.

Mortal Recovery

Over Healing – Attack Skill. Does an exact amount of damage which is strong against INT builds. A must max.

Glut Healing – Attack Skill. An extention move of Over Healing. A must max.

Recovery

Group Healing – Heal Skill. Heals multiple party members at once. Max it.

Healing Division – Heal Skill. Automatically heals the member with low HP. Max it.

Healing Cycle – Buff Skill. Slowly heals a certain party member for a certain amount of time. Max it.

Group Healing Breath – Heal Skill. An extension to Group Healing. Note: Can use with Group Healing. Max it.

Healing Favor – Heal Skill. An extension to Healing Division. Max it.

Healing Orbit – Buff Skill. An extension of Healing Cycle. Max it.

Blessed Recovery

Bless Spell – Buff Skill. Adds an amazing amount of defense for 45 seconds. A must max.

Recovery – Heal Skill. Does a large amount of healing. Max it

Recovery Division – Buff Skill. Heals members HP slowly overtime. Max it.

Group Recovery – Heal Skill. An amazingly strong healing skill that heals the party. A must max.

Holy Recovery – Heal Skill. It will be your strongest heal skill, but only at lvl 80. Max it.

Resurrection

Group Reverse – Res Skill. Helpful if everyone dies in a critical position. Get when extra SP available.

Reverse Oblation – Res Skill. Gives some amazing defense. Get when extra SP available.

Glory

Charity – Passive Skill. Increases and allows last 2 column skills. A must max.

Glory Armor – Passive Skill. Adds Physical Defense to your own character. Max it only if using light armor.

Favor Armor – Passive Skill. Adds Magical Defense to your own character. Max it only if using light armor.

Sacrafice

Offering – Attack Skill. Probably the most powerful skill in all of iSRO, known as the “Suicidal Skill”. A must max.

Pure Offering – Attack Skill. An extension of Offering skill at lvl 80. A must max.

Saint Prayer

Holy Word – Prevention Skill. Prevents certain status effects, Innocent/Integrity are better. SP Waiste.

Heaven Flash – Status Skill. May come in handy but not priority. SP Waiste.

Holy Spell – Prevention Skill. An extension of Holy Word, not worth it. A must max.

Heaven Glare – Status Skill. An extension of Heaven Flash, not worth it. SP Waiste.

Blessing

Force Blessing – Buff Skill. 1st Series of 1 of 2 most useful buff’s in iSRO.A must max.

Mental Blessing – Buff Skill. 1st Series of 1 of 2 most useful buff’s in iSRO. A must max.

Body Blessing – Buff Skill. Adds a great amount of Physical Defense, greater then chinese buff max’d. A must max.

Soul Blessing – Buff Skill. Adds a great amount of Magical Defense, greater then chinese buff max’d. A must max.

Force Deity – Buff Skill. An extension of Force Blessing. A must max.

Metal Deity – Buff Skill. An extension of Mental Blessing. A must max.

Here is an example of what a Clerics Skill Bar might look like. If it was only on one of the F{1-4}’s that is.

Once you have established your Cleric tree you ofcourse have the option to add on another mastery. You have the option of Bard/Warlock/Wizard. Most Solo players, or balanced type players, will make Wizard their secondary skill tree to train and such. Others continue with full out Aid build and go with Bard. Warlocks are helpful if you do a lot of group PvP and your Cleric skills are not needed as often.

Guide To The Battle Plan To Be A Nuker On Silkroad Live

Some may be able to get the skills for being a nuker on silkroad live without any problem, but then, because you do not have a good strategy, you get beaten. So let’s start off with the basics. Armor? Garments. Always. The increased moving speed and lowered mp usage plays right into your hands. Weapon? Sword. You are intelligence based, remember, and although it is hard to resist the looks of a blade, a sword helps you out much more. Also, always have a lot of potions and auto potion recovery turned on.

Normally, in a battle, you should have a guild member or party member attack the enemy first, and while the enemy is preoccupied, you can shoot in a few thunderbolts and sword dances, which will almost undoubtedly kill him. But if you’re solo, just follow this basic strategy: never let the enemy get a hit on you. When he first attacks, you should first look to see what he is wearing. If it is strength based equipment, such as a glavie or blade, you should immediately fire off a wolf’s thunderbolt, then turn on thunderforce and use a sword dance on him. If all goes well, he will be damaged severely before he even reaches you, because he is an idiot strength character. Then, once he gets you, immediately use your hidden blade on him, then killing heaven. With luck, he is now dead, but if not see if you can use a shock lion shout on him to finish him off. If not, run a few meters away and wait for him to get up. Then rinse and repeat continuously until you kill him.

But what if it’s an intelligence based character? This calls for a whole new game plan. First, you must hit him with a cold wave arrest, then a sworddance/ thunderforce, since he is weak to physical damage. Do a blade force, then run up to him and do hidden blade followed by killing heaven. All of this should still have thunderforce to back it up if you have it at it’s highest level, giving you eight seconds of destruction. By now he should be dead but if not, wait for him to get up and use a chain sword attack on him, which should finish him off because of his low hitpoints. The biggest problem is intelligence based bowman with high cold, which will eliminate most of your advantages, such as speed, long range (a bow has better range then you) and being able to get close for a finishing blow since they can stay away from you. The best way to counter this is to have plenty of universal pills ready, and asides from that to use the same strategy with other intelligence based characters: just hit them as hard and as fast as you can.

The Skills You Need To Be a Nuker on Silkroad Live

Why the nuker? It takes a long time to get, it has low hit points and it’s hell getting to level 30 with such low hit points, made even more painstaking by the skill point farming (which you have to do). But, once you get there, you can take out mobs of creatures slightly lower than yourself in a few hits, giving you massive experience. And, for PvPing, this is the ultimate aider in combat. If you have a friend with high defence and high hitpoints run into a fight, with you off to the side raining down death from above, you and you’re friend will seriously own.
But why all those skills, generally considered to be worse than fire and a bad compromise? First of all, for nukers, lightning and bicheon both give you a ranged attack before any other skills. And, lightning’s nuke, when you have full piercing series, actually does more damage then fire’s! (Really, go ahead and check it. With the 16% increase, it does more)

Also, lightning spreads out, and this effect is increased by wolf/ tiger thunderbolts, which spread out to multiple targets without the added lightning effect of doing so anyway. Bicheon’s sword dance also does this, and sword dance can be combined with thunderforce series to do crazy damage. With all of these benefits, you can take out low lvl mobs in a second.

Also, with lightning, you get windwalk, which is, as far as I am concerned, the best skill in the world for nukers. When it’s at it’s maximum, you actually move faster than a red horse, which is extremely helpful for escaping from tanks and strength based characters. Bowman can be more of a problem, especially if they are intelligence based characters with high cold.

If you want to be a nuker and show all those thick skulled strength pures whose boss, you’re going to have to be, from the very start, pure intelligence. If you go for being a nuker, you will use magic incredibly often. So, here are the skills you will need.
1. Cold
Nothing here except maybe the cold wave series 1st level of the first book.
2. Lightning
Thunderforce Series: As high as possible
Piercing Series: As high as possible
Windwalk Series: as high as possible
Shock Lion Shout: You should get this farily high, and you shouldn’t get rid of the levels here once you get wolf’s thunderbolt, because it is good for finishing an opponent off as quickly as possible.
Concentration: Get this pretty high, but it is not abosolutely mandatory
Thunderbolt Series: This is the main weapon of the nuker, and you must put this before all other skills.
3. Bicheon
Smash Series: If you have points left over it’s ok. Get the first book when youre a low lvl
Chain Series: Same as smashing series
Shield Technique Series:pointless. This build is all about attacking
Blade Force Series: This should be about as high as you’re shock lion shout for lightning
Hidden Blade/ Killing Heaven Series: Get these fairly high, they’re good finishers, and while the opponent’s on the ground you might be able to nuke them (I’m not sure though. Try it out)
Sword Dance Series: A must. It releases several attacks with high damage
Shield Protection: It only takes one skill mastery level, so you might as well take it, but don’t start getting obsessed with defence. You’re not a tank.
4. Force
You can get whatever you want with this, just so long as you have ressurection and the passive skill.

Guide to avoiding scammers and cheap tricks

It’s come to my attention, the growing number of scammers roaming the streets. Unfortunately I’ve seen many fall prey to cheap tricks, including many of my friends. So here it is a guide to avoiding scammers and cheap tricks.

These people will try to “help” you. They may even be your freind for a few weeks just to get your trust so be aware of a few warning signs.

1) If someone offers to POWER LEVEL your account. Don’t allow it, even if you’ve known this person for a few weeks and such. They will only drain your account of all money and all items worth value. If they don’t do just this, they might just TAKE you account.

2) Some people will offer great items at low low prices. Watch out for them. They will cancel the trade, maybe a few times, but once they do this enough they’ll put a item in the slot that resembles the item your trading for. So if your tradgin for a lvl 24 SOS spear, they might slip in a normal lvl 24 spear.

3) Another group of scammer say they will buy you silk, but they need to get into your account. That is another scam that allows them to get into your account and take your stuff.

4) The last one I can currently think of is stalls. People will keep the price of a certain item low (exanple 200k for a weapon elixer) then after they see you triny to buy it, they’ll boost the price up to a price like 350k or some outrageous price.

Guide to how to farm skill points in the fastest way possible

Do you still struggle to level to 32 and then wish you had farmed earlier? SP (skill points) farming is a must for those who wish to have more than 2 Skill trees, such as Blade/ Ice/ Fire //or// Glavie/ Fire/ Ice/ Lightning.

Skill Point Calculator

First of all you must think about what build you want (skills included)

Then click HERE to calculate how much SP you will need to achieve that build

Decide how much mastry difference you will want to level up with (0/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9) then click HERE

Subtract the total SP you need for your dream build from the total SP you will gain while leveling with the gap of your choice. THAT will be how much SP you will need to farm

Getting started

- Create a new character

- Chose Armor (can change after done farming)

- Chose bow (can change after done farming)

- train and level your Bow skill to 7 and STOP THERE

- Raise the first bow skill to lvl 2 only

- Raise the second bow skill to lvl 1 only

- train and level your Fire skill to 7 and STOP THERE

- Raise The Fire imbue skill to lvl 2 only

- level yourself up to lvl 16

- buy the BEST lvl 16 bow possible (crit doesnt matter), Preferably an SOS or >+5

- head to the Mountain Stronghold

- near the middle there is a Bandit Archer spawn, with your bow you should be able to 1 hit KO them with Imbue

- if your bow is strong enough u can go for the Bandits

- Farm as much as you need according to the SP calculator

But you should note that once you are done farming SP you can recall the skills you raised that you didnt need through the Curst heart quest you get at lvl 20. Use the bow skills for killing giants. Raising Ice will allow you to save on HP pots while raising Fire will allow you to do more dammage therefore reducing the requierment for your godly bow.

Guide to Using iBot from start to finishⅡ

Ok, now we start the second part. in this part of the guide i am going to show you guys how to setup your bot to autorelog and autostart minimized when you start your computer, first lets start by seting up the autorelog, and that is a hidden option in the iBot, to activate it first you must click the donate button!

Then go to the second tab you’ll notice that a new Option has appeared, now set your account information.

Now its time for the second part, go and make a shortcut of Ibot.exe , once you have made it right click it then properties and then add this to your target line in front of ibot.

After that click Apply then OK. Then Open up SRO with iBot.

Ok, you made it this far, the hard parts are somewhat over. Now double click on the ibot.exe file, it will ask you if you would like to donate (I always click no) then the actual bot will open. Do NOT click on start bot yet, most people get this confused with starting the client.

Here is the button you need to click on the bot to get the game started with the bot (highlighted in red):

6. Setting up the party match

This is pretty self explanatory. Notice the 3 tabs at the top, you have taxi tool built in, and it works great!

There is a bug with this part of the bot, do NOT form party through the game otherwise client will close. Operate everything through this, it will make things alot easier. It also allows you to set member lvl to 250 which is cSRO cap.

This is where you can set the bot to auto res members of your party, again, another extremely useful function to the bot, sometimes does take a few seconds for it to do this, but it does do it nonetheless. You must set your secondary weapon, as well as res skill in other parts of the bot which I will outline.

Here is the taxi tool function of the bot, it is not bad at all, the only real downside is you have to type the names exactly as they are if you want it to kick when time ends. I personally like this, but taxi tool 2.5 by prodigy is still better.

7. Setting your Primary and Secondary weapons

Just as it says, Your primary weapon is your attack weapon, secondary weapon is secondary. You need to set this up if you wanna use buffs, so do it! Highlight the weapon then click the tab. You will not see any changes on this page.

8. Setting up area, and mob filter

You hopefully understand how this works, upon setting up the script you will need to also set this, basically so the bot stays within the designated hunting area. You will need to set this up for every new hunting area/script you make. When you get to the hunting area that you wish to hunt at, click set to set the hunting area.

This is where you get to set when beserker mode goes on, keep in mind, it WILL attack PT mobs if beserker is in effect and PT mobs is unchecked, this basically is a setting for when beserk starts. So as you see in my setting, it will start being used when Giant mob is targeted. There are other settings, so set yours accordingly to your hunting habitat.

This is a pretty important part of the bot, try it out, set it the way you like it.

9. Setting up skills and buffs

On the left you will see your skills, every time you add skill points to a mastery you MUST click refresh skill list to keep the bot in good working order. For good habit, do this every time you go to your skills page.

To set your main attack skill, simply highlight the attack skill on the left, then click on Add under the 1st Use skill and you will see the attack skill in the box.

Setting up imbue is mainly focused towards chinese chars, pretty easy to understand, same method as adding the 1st attack skill.

Attack skills are basically your next attacks when fighting mobs. You can add as many of these as you wish, I usually stick to 3-5 to keep it simple.

Primary buff skills are used mainly for the chinese based chars. Simple to understand.

Also, this is the page where you setup your res skill to bring back dead pt members automatically. Highlight the res skill, then click the tab as highlighted.

This is where you setup your Giant/PT attack and imbue skills, as well as secondary buffs (mainly used on euro characters, easy enough to understand.

10. Setting up your scripts (part1)

As outlined below, and is explanatory. Speed drugs will not be purchased if untouched. Mine says that but it is never purchased. Current script is a script that you created, starting at the stable in town. Upon creating a new script, you will need to click on Load New Train script to execute the script. (this script is done AFTER you buy everything in town, create it once you are done purchasing in town items.) You basically click on the ground up to the hunting area that you choose, then choose script name, then save it.

10. Setting up your scripts (part2)

This is where you get to create the new script, click on create script tab, then record. Again, this is started usually from the stable after you have already purchased everything in town. You will basically record the script by clicking on the ground, avoid clicking too far away as this will usually result in the script to be poorly recorded and get stuck somewhere, click on the ground every 30 steps or so to be safe. You will see the steps recorded if you go back to ibot after clicking on ground in game it will say go, etc etc coordinate. This is how you know it’s recording properly. Once at hunting area, make a script name (i usually make it the mobs name and lvl). Then click save. In order to make the bot loop you MUST go back to the current script tab, and click on load new train script, and choose the script you just made for that mob.

11. Autopotions/Pet/Horse

This part is self explanatory, set up the pots according to what applies to you. Easy to set up, I usually set up a vigor potion in game if my HP goes too low while HP pot is still in use. I usually set vigor to 35% HP and auto HP pot to about 50-55%. Vigors are VERY important if you are euro, they will in most cases save your life, especially if you are Wiz.

12. Item Picking/Selling/Storage filter

Before you guys ask what happens to SOS/SOM/SOSUN/SONOVA drops, wheres the tab for that? It automatically stores ANY special drop in your storage! IT WILL NOT SELL ANY SPECIAL DROPS! Which is very important to me, and to you guys I’m sure. You can set your bot to sell your dropped weapons/accessories, etc, but the bot cannot be set to sell any special drops like SOS+, this is an awesome feature and good safety practice. Also has Tablet filter, and pet options

P.S. Before you guys complain about your pet picking up arrows/bolts after specifying it to not pick, you have to set the pet IN GAME as well. Example of my settings below.

This should get you guys going.

LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT STEPS!

Make sure after doing all this work in setting up your bot, you click SAVE SETTINGS TAB!! When you wish to stop the bot from running or training, click STOP BOT tab, when done configuring settings, click the START BOT tab. ALL THESE SETTINGS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR BOT INTERFACE.

Here a complete guide from start to finish on ibot, from installing necessary files, to configuring the bot, to setting up scrips, which are somewhat of a pain if you don’t have any guidance. So here goes. All of this will be in steps to keep it simple.

- iBot, is a free to use Silkroad Online Bot. it beats pay-to-use bots hands down. Many say how extremely fast and efficient this bot is. You may want to try this bot, and you will not want to go back to pay to use bots. With a little bit of guidance, and a little understanding on your part, you will be up botting 24/7 with no problems (server permitting). Taking in to consideration that SBot no longer is accepting new accounts from anyone, this is a BETTER alternative to botting. (BTW this bot is better than AgBot ever was.) Minus the AgDev team which fell off the scene because life has more important things going on for some.

Before we get started on the actual aspect of the bot, lets talk about some measures to avoid being detected or banned. This way your botting experience is maximized.

There is a file in your Silkroad folder called SilkErrSender.exe, rename the file to something random or totally delete the file all together. This will stop Silkroad crashes and errors from being reported back to Joymax, do this no questions asked.

Buy silk (one time is good) and keep at least 1 silk left on your account, this shows that you spend money on a free to play game, and will most likely cause you to not get banned if someone sees you botting in game and decides to report you. They really have no proof, just assumptions. Buy silk, leave some on your account to play it safe.

Always keep your bot up to date. Check for updates after EVERY server inspection/update. If you keep your bot current, you are less likely to get banned.

Multiclient botting is asking to be banned and is more detectable than any single client bot, so if possible, stay away from multiclient botting. HardMod is okay to use if you want to plvl, or stall. Keep that up to date as well.

Download the latest version, do not download from anywhere else. BTW, it is clean and completely safe from harming your PC, so you are welcome to scan it as well. This means, there are NO VIRUSES. If you do a scan you will most likely get what is known as false positives. Google for more information.

Extract iBot to desktop

Well, basically it is in .rar format upon downloading, so extract all files to your desktop or a folder of your choosing.

Installing the necessary files

Without installing these files, you WILL get errors so don’t be surprised if you cut corners and this happens to you. Inside the iBot_Necessities folder you will see a series of files, run the ones I have highlighted here in red and completely install them. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 right click on each file, and Run as Administrator. If you are unable to install them for any reason, restart your computer in SAFE MODE, and then install them following this step.

Configure srodir.ini file

This is a definite MUST to getting this bot to work and actually open your SRO client. Double click the srodir.ini file, you may be prompted to choose a file to open the current file, choose “choose a program from list, then click ok” Open the file with notepad or wordpad, notepad is easier since it should be in the list.

You want the file to look like this, basically so it directs the program to open with SRO client, now this screenshot is for Windows 7 users, but if you are on XP or another Windows OS, try deleting the (x86) part out so that its just Program Files. Or to make it completely simple, copy the full path to your SRO_client.exe

Make the necessary changes, then click save.
